These are some pine cone weights I made for a Cuckoo clock, which can be seen in the "Home by Eight" picture on my website. Here are details of how I made them:
1. Create basic shapes out of paper mâché
2. Cut ca. 200 paper leaves (taped fingers prevent blisters)
3. Paint cones and glue on leaves, making sure to follow the spiral pattern of natural pine cones
